At Seolup we take your data privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we process, for what purpose and what rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD).

2. Data we collect
We may process the following categories of data:
- Contact data: information you provide when you email us (name, email address and the message or query you send).
- Account data: the email address and credentials you enter to create your account and start the free trial, which is registered at app.seolup.io.
- Billing data: if you sign up for a paid plan, payment data is processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your full card numbers.
- Technical browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited.
- Cookie and analytics data: only when you give your consent, as described in the Cookie Policy. Currently the site does not use analytics.
3. Purposes of processing
We process your data for the following purposes:
- Responding to your queries and requests for information or support.
- Managing registration, the free trial, and paid subscriptions to the service, as well as the business relationship.
- Providing the product functionality (keyword research and SERP analysis) you request.
- Improving the website, product and user experience.
- Sending you service-related communications when you have given your consent.
4. Legal basis for processing
- Your consent: when you email us, create an account, or accept cookies.
- Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, when the data is necessary to provide the service.
- Legitimate interest of the data controller in improving the website and product and ensuring their security.
5. Data retention period
We keep your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and to address any legal liabilities arising from that processing.
Contact data is kept for a maximum of 24 months from the last communication, unless you request deletion earlier or there is a legal obligation to keep it longer. Account and billing data are retained while the account is active and for the applicable legal periods after closure.
6. Recipients and data processors
We do not sell, trade or transfer your personal data to third parties. To provide the service we rely on providers that act as data processors and process data in accordance with our instructions:
- Netlify, Inc. — hosting for the seolup.io website.
- InsForge — backend infrastructure, authentication and database for the application.
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and subscription management.
- Resend — sending transactional emails (account verification, service notifications).
- DataForSEO — provider of SERP and keyword data that we use to generate analyses; it processes search terms and URLs, not personal contact data.
7. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, these transfers are made with the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
8. Security measures
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access, including encryption of communications via the SSL/TLS protocol.

You can exercise the following rights over your personal data at any time:
- Access: to know what data of yours we process.
- Rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: to request that we delete your data.
